Answer – The “point person” is the person organizing and facilitating the prayer walk at a given school.

What is a “key person?” What do they do?
Answer – The “key person” is someone that has access to the school building and permission to open it to 1-Hour participants. (This is not required, but can add significant insight and impact to your time of prayer).
What does a 1-Hour prayer walk look like?
Answer – Generally the “point person” will gather participants at a school’s flagpole to welcome people, give brief instruction, handout prayer guides, and release participants to the time of prayer, typically walking around the school in groups of 2 or more. We also encourage a time near the end of the hour to regather and reflect on how the Holy Spirit guided your prayers.

Who can attend a 1-Hour prayer walk?
Answer – We welcome all who want to peacefully unite in prayer to God on behalf of students, school personnel and the community they’re in.
Can I join a 1-Hour prayer walk even if I don’t know the “point person?”
Answer – Absolutely! Our hope is to see people from any neighboring church join together in a spirit of unity and prayer on behalf of the students, teachers, staff, their families and their community as a whole.
Anything else I should know?
Answer – We want to be very clear that we are not protesting in any way, shape or form. We are gathering to pray blessings on the students and all those involved in the education process. Since schools are public property, there is no problem with gathering at the flagpole to pray, but we want to be good citizens in the process.
